p365: day 24.

July 27, 2008

i am going to state right here infact, that i will not be posting until August 12, because i am flying to Menorca tomorrow morn. i will still take pictures and the like and possibly even update with some theoretical nonsense if i feel like it, but no pictures until the 12th. and then you’ll get dozens! perhaps a whole post dedicated to holiday-ness & the excitement the sunshine brings. per-haps! i will see. have a good two weeks, email me or something. I’ll most likely reply. & if you want postcards – email email email!

today, amongst other things and complications and laughter at work, was a rush of packing, drinking pepsi in wine glasses and watching foxes and painting my nails “midnight plum” and wondering what my hair would be like long (finding extensions) and laughing and packing everything, tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow! picture is sitting outside with sisters & snapping them unaware, until rachel said “hannahs taking pictures everyone”.

p365: day 14

July 17, 2008

fresh lemonade and swings and summer dresses, walking under grey skies and kisses and you’rebeautiful and smiles and everything else imaginable, too much money spent in topshop and that familiar picture

p365: day 12

July 15, 2008

no more red kiss, sitting with your soft lips. no more long trips, laying down hip to hip. no more back to bed, bed to back basics and if that’s the way it is i’m feeling so wasted.

nb. i didn’t write this, it’s krones by for the common wealth. i can’t get enough of this song and i walked to work today and that’s all i really have to say.

okay, i’m starting project 365. it’s officially summer, being that i have two months off college. and this is now public, too. i tried this last year but gave up after two months, my goal is to reach the end of the summer (early september), but hopefully i will manage to complete the full year. we’ll see how it goes. the dessert i brought home from work last night made me smile a whole lot. it’s a good day today.

some important lessons learned this weekend:

1. i can fit in the bin cupboard, if i tuck my head in

2. sometimes people do keep their promises

3. things change, often unexpectedly, often for the better

4. sometimes it may not be fair, but at least you know you are a good person and you are doing the right thing

5. luck is everywhere

6. my tea-making skills are sliding downwards, rapidly

7. i hate online networking sites, but i still use them. every day.

8. i miss last summer. and the summer before that.

9. i am beautiful and strong.

10. finding things you had previously thought were lost, is a lovely feeling on a sunday evening.
